Bob Kames has touched the lives of so many people by means of his piano store he owned for 42 years as well as his successful recording career of over 70 albums. It was his passion to spread the joy of music to everyone who would listen to his organ recordings or sit and practice a piano that was purchased from one of his music stores. The Bob Kames Foundation was established in 2005 by Bob Kames Jr. as a means to continue this passion of bringing out the music in everyone, especially high school music groups and encouraging parents to get children involved in music at an early age. It is our desire to keep this passion alive through various awards, grants and scholarships based on music academics as well as on stage performance.
